Star Plus is gearing up for an upcoming show based on crime stories which will be solved by STF (Special Task Force).
If all goes well, Mohammed Iqbal Khan who was last seen in the &TV show Waaris will make a comeback on small screen with this show. For the first time, he will be seen playing a cop.
Rajeev Khandelwal was supposed to play this character, but now Iqbal has replaced him. We hear, Rajeev excused himself citing date issues.
Last year In July Iqbal was rounded with a controversy due to his Facebook post where he protested against the use of splinters and force by police in Kashmir.

In his post, Iqbal also compared the situation in Kashmir with Palestine, "Images from Kashmir look like images from Palestine. I apeal to the Indian government to deal with the situation in a better way. You don't use splinters on protesters and blind them for life,you don't shoot them and kill them.This kind of force was not even used when the jaats protested and did physical damage of thousands of crores....then why in kashmir? why why?" Iqbal wrote.
